Install Notes
If you have a previous version of Norton Internet Security,
then follow these steps:
01. Disconnect from internet.
02. Remove Norton Internet Security from Start Menu or from Control Panel ->
"Add or Remove programs".
03. Reboot.
04. Run the included Norton Removal Tool, reboot (repeat it 2-3 times).
05. Install Norton Internet Security 2012 v19.5.0.145.
06. Reconnect to the internet, and create an account to get red of any nag screen.
07. From NIS tray icon, click "Open Internet Security".
08. Go to "Setting" -> "General" -> "Product Security" and turn off
"Norton Temper Protection".
09. Reboot into "Safe Mode" (F8 While booting).
10. From within the rar file "1BOX_NTR2012.rar", Start
"1BOX_NTR2012.exe" and press "Install".
11. Restart and turn on "Norton Temper Protection".
12. DONE! You can update.
Note 1: If you have never installed a previous version of Norton Internet
Security into your systrm, then you should start from step 5 above.
